Capital Electric: more capable and more ready for 2026
2025 was a year of problem-solving, progress and a team that leveled up for our customers.
The projects and progress that defined 2025 for Capital Electric
2025 wasn’t just a year of projects – it was a year of momentum, progress and growing capabilities.
Across the board, our team took on challenges, supported customers through unpredictable periods and strengthened the systems that keep everything moving smoothly for everyone. Behind every external win was a step forward internally: new roles, new skills and new offerings that make Capital Electric an even stronger partner heading into the new year. Here’s a quick look at the work and the growth that defined 2025 and set 2026 up for even greater heights.
Solving problems where they mattered most
Some of our biggest Ws came from showing up for customers when conditions weren’t ideal. The Waunakee School District project stands out. The tariffs landed smack dab in the middle of the Atlas portion of the job, but being proactive meant we were able to hold the quoted pricing by getting the order placed and pre-billed before the increase hit. Given the scope of work, deliveries and logistics required tight coordination throughout the entire year – something our Customer Support Specialist, Brian Baxa, stayed on top of masterfully.
Concordia University has continued to be a long-running success story, a relationship built over years with trust that has led to significant improvements to their tech infrastructure. It’s a reminder that consistency, reliability and follow-through still matter more than anything else. A little bit of expertise doesn’t hurt either.
Capital Electric also supported the expansion of a major high-end appliance manufacturer into multiple states. Working with our Lori Garbett, our fantastic Customer Service Rep, all networkcabling and audio systems were delivered on time across remote facilities, reinforcing that Capital can scale right alongside the customers who need us most. And as volatility crept through the market, programs like Bill & Hold once again gave customers welcome breathing room, protecting budgets and timelines during a year when both were under pressure. Something we’ll continue to offer in 2026, of course. These wins weren’t accidents. They were the result of a team that’s grown in the right ways.
The internal growth that made those outcomes possible
Behind the scenes at Capital Electric, 2025 was a year of people stepping into new roles and strengthening the backbone of how we support customers.
Nick Lange moved into purchasing and took on a steep learning curve with our ERP system (Rubicon), Excel and new operational processes, giving us more consistency and control over procurement.
Miles Meye stepped into the warehouse manager role, keeping a fast-moving environment running smoothly and making sure product flow stayed predictable even during busy periods.
Cody Rosgard transitioned from purchasing into marketing, helped launch the new website and has been driving clearer communication across the board from social posts to delivering this newsletter.
Mary Harpster has continued to spot talent and elevate team members into positions where they could make a bigger impact, a sign of a healthy operation that’s planning for the future, not just reacting to the present.
Across the company, we expanded our Smart Building capabilities as well as deeper involvement in surveillance, audio, AI detection and other technologies that give customers more options and more support from a single partner.
Heading into 2026 with more capability than ever
This year’s wins are building blocks. No matter the challenge, the team found ways to be helpful. A stronger purchasing process, a steadier warehouse, better communication channels and expanded technical expertise all translate into one thing: better support for the people who rely on us.
We’re closing out 2025 as a more capable, more cohesive team and we’re excited to carry that momentum into 2026!
If there’s a project, challenge or goal you want support on in the year ahead, we’re here and ready.
