Become Proterial
After 35 years in business, Hitachi Cable America recently announced it will be exiting the Hitachi brand and changing its name to Proterial.
Proterial stands for professional, progressive, proactive in their pursuit of providing exceptional quality materials.
Hitachi Cable America, Inc. (HCA) is made up of three divisions.
- The Performance Cable & Materials Division (Manchester, NH) manufactures copper and fiber optic communication cables and assemblies for the telecommunications industry.
- High Performance Medical Solutions (Ashaway, RI) manufactures complex catheter tubing and high-pressure medical braided tubing with in-house secondary operations and device assembly.
- The Automotive Division (New Albany, IN) manufactures OE Brake Lines, ABS/WSS Harness, EPB Harness, Bent Formed Steel Tube, TurboCharger Components, and other various sensor assemblies.
HCA will transition to Proterial Cable America, Inc, in January 2023, when it will invest in its manufacturing capabilities, state-of-the-art machinery, advanced quality control techniques, R&D, technical expertise, capacity expansions, and hire new talent.
Though the name will change, two things won’t; Proterial will continue to create great products in New Hampshire and its trusted partnership with Signamax® Connectivity Systems remains intact.
Made in America then, Made in America now with a focus on designing exceptional copper, fiber optic cable and premise cables solutions – Cat 5e through 7a.
The HCA Lifetime Warranty will transfer to the Proterial name and will cover all Hitachi Cable as well as the approved connectivity that is used on the project. The warranty not only covers the physical components of the project but also guarantees electrical performance.
