Hanwha Techwin is Now Hanwha Vision
A name change is often motivated by a change to the business and that’s certainly the case for Hanwha Vision.
Moving from “Techwin” to “Vision” represents their expansion from surveillance, security and post-event analysis into big data analytics and solutions that embrace the future like AI, the cloud and thermal imaging.
The ever-dependable Hanwha name will stay, along with their commitment to high-performance surveillance and security while they keep a focused eye on developing next-get vision solutions.
As their president said, “what worked as recently as two years ago may not work today, and certainly not for tomorrow.”
We’re fans of that kind of thinking at Capital Electric and their commitment to innovation was on full display at the recent ISC West show in Las Vegas where they unveiled a host of new cameras and services:
Business Intelligence Software
Utilizing Hanwha cameras and AI analytics to provide surveillance professionals with real-time data to make informed decisions. The software is optimized for retail, manufacturing and city environments, providing insights to improve customer experience, increase productivity and enhance profitability.
AI Corner Mount Camera – TNV-C7013RC
This compact camera is designed to prevent tampering or being forcibly removed. With a wide field of view and AI-powered features like object detection and color-based alarms, it’s ideal for use in secure environments such as hospitals and correctional facilities.
AI-Powered Four-and Five-Channel Multi-Sensor – PNM-C34404RQPZ
A five-channel AI IR PTRZ multi-directional camera with PTZ capabilities. All channels can be controlled remotely and adjusted from one IP. AI object detection allows for PTZ tracking of objects and the four-channel model features a dedicated IR LED for each channel to enhance low-light monitoring.
And that’s only a few of the new goodies they brought to the table!
