Meet the Capital Electric Team: Tiffaney Gromowski, Customer Support Specialist

Tiffaney is one of the newest members of our team and already a dynamo on the support team, working diligently to put together quotes and orders for you.

She’s making sure you get what you need when you need it and is always willing to lend a helping hand.

With a background in finance, Tiffaney brings a fresh perspective and a drive to learn.

She’s also a Saints fan…but nobody’s perfect😉

Let’s get into the conversation.

What inspired you to pursue a career here?

The idea of learning something new and the flexibility were both incredibly appealing.

Oddly enough, my husband has been in this industry for 20+ years and has even been a customer of Capital Electric! So I’m learning about the business even when I’m outside the office.

What’s your role at Capital Electric and what are your primary responsibilities?

I’m a Customer Support Specialist, putting quotes and orders together for customers and helping provide what they need in a pinch.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The flexibility to work at my own pace is what I enjoy the most.

Also, this is my first time doing a job that is mostly over the phone and email and not as much face-to-face. Which is kind of great because I can take the time to actually dig and find the right resolution

We’re a small team that likes to get stuff done. We’re not too busy in meetings to make things happen.

We know things don’t always go as planned but with years of experience, we’ve refined our ability to adapt and resolve problems.

How would you describe the team culture at Capital Electric?

So, I came from the financial field, and coming into this industry with no experience was

a bit overwhelming at first, but the team I’m part of is super patient and always willing to help.

My coworker, Lori, who’s been here for 20+ years, has been particularly tremendous and made things much easier for me.

What challenges have you faced in your role and how did you overcome them?

The hardest part has been learning all the different products that Capital Electric offers.

It’s a lot! Which is amazing for customers…but takes some studying to get a good grasp of.

I’m constantly learning new products and their applications in the field. Utilizing our test system has been immensely helpful in understanding the part numbers and processing orders.

What does a typical day look like for you at Capital Electric?

A typical day involves me asking lots of questions (and coffee)!

I’m also answering emails, taking calls as needed and assisting with walk-in service.

How do you personally resonate with the values of Capital Electric?

I strongly believe in doing the right thing and working hard. If you can’t give 110% and do the right thing, then you’re not doing it right. That’s something that’s clearly part of the culture here at Capital and I’m grateful for that.

What are some of your hobbies or interests outside of work?

I enjoy bowling, art, photography and watching my kids play sports.

What makes working at Capital Electric special for you?

The fact that Capital Electric took a chance on me with no prior experience and has taken the time to help me grow professionally on a whole new level is something I truly appreciate.

Any fun facts?

I’m from Mississippi, I’m a Saints fan and I have a twin sister!
