Who's got your back?

A drawback of working with “big” companies, or even small companies, via online ordering is there's no one that’s got your back. If you order it, it’s yours. Even if it’s the wrong part.

Sure, you can send it back for credit most of the time. But how much did it cost you? Remember, time = cost. Something we’re all very short on these days.

One of the things our team is most proud of at Capital is our ability to catch mismatches before they turn into problems. We do it consistently and we’re good at it. We’re good at it because we’re smart about it.  We take the time to understand how things fit together… or how they don’t. That way when the material list you’re working with has an odd piece listed, we catch it and ask about it.

For example, let’s say you’re working on a project and your team has provided a list of materials needed (BOM), which were picked from your database of parts. Your BOM includes a few colors of Cat6 with related hardware and fiber with its related hardware. Upon review we see that the BOM includes plenum fiber but riser innerduct so we ask if this is correct; we also notice that the fiber couplers will not fit into the fiber termination shelf requested. We do all of this BEFORE your order is entered, not after it’s cut and shipped.

The bottom line here is that we’ve got your back. We don’t want you to deal with things twice so we do what we can to ensure that you get exactly what you need without spending time re-doing things.
